ত্রিপুরায় আচার অনুষ্ঠান 'লাই হরোবা' শুরু হয়েছে
ত্রিপুরার আগরতলায় মণিপুরী মেইটিই (Meitei) সম্প্রদায় কর্তৃক পালিত একটি অনুষ্ঠান উৎসব লাই হারোবা শুরু হয়। পাঁচ দিনব্যাপী এই উৎসবের উদ্বোধন করেন রাজ্য বিধানসভার স্পিকার রেবতী মোহন দাস ।
মৌখিক সাহিত্য, সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য এবং আচারের মাধ্যমে লাই হারোবা উদযাপিত হয়েছিল। মণিপুর থেকে একটি সাংস্কৃতিক দল এসে মণিপুরি মার্শাল আর্ট, লোকসংগীত এবং লোকনৃত্য পরিবেশন করে।
উৎসবটি আয়োজন করেছিল:

Meitei সম্প্রদায়ের ঐতিহ্য এবং সাংস্কৃতিক মূল্যবোধ সমুন্নত রাখা।

সরকার এবং রাজ্য সরকার এবং নয়াদিল্লিতে ব্রু উপজাতির প্রতিনিধিদের মধ্যে একটি চতুর্ভুজ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরের সভাপতিত্ব করেন। 23 বছর বয়সী ব্রু-রেয়াং শরণার্থী সংকট ।

ii। ব্রু সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতিটি পরিবারকে পৃথক ভূমি ব্লক বরাদ্দ করা হবে এবং পৃথক ভূখণ্ড হবে 2,500 বর্গফুট। উপরন্তু, প্রতিটি পরিবারকে এককালীন সহায়তা প্রদান করা হবে Rs। ফিক্সড ডিপোজিট (এফডি) হিসাবে lakh লাখ, ঘর নির্মাণের জন্য ১.৫ লক্ষ টাকা , জীবিকার জন্য প্রতি মাসে ৫০ হাজার টাকা আর্থিক সহায়তা এবং পরবর্তী ২ বছরের জন্য বিনামূল্যে রেশন ।
iii। মিজোরামের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী (CM), ত্রিপুরার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রী জোরামথাঙ্গা, NEDA এর চেয়ারম্যান শ্রী বিপ্লব কুমার দেব, TIPRA এর চেয়ারম্যান শ্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব সরমা, শ্রী প্রদ্যোত কিশোর দেববর্মা, ব্রু উপজাতির প্রতিনিধি এবং অন্যান্য seniorর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠান।

Brus মিজোরাম রাজ্যের দ্বিতীয় বৃহত্তম জাতিগত গোষ্ঠী।
মিজোরামের ব্রু সম্প্রদায়কে তফসিলি উপজাতিদের (এসটি) এবং ত্রিপুরার একটি পৃথক বর্ণ গোষ্ঠী হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। এই সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা কাতুইক ভাষায় কথা বলে।
ব্রু-রিয়াং শরণার্থী সংকট:
ব্রু সম্প্রদায়ের আবাসিক এলাকা ভারতের মিজোরাম, ত্রিপুরা এবং বাংলাদেশের পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের কিছু এলাকা পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত।
1995 সালে, মিজোরাম রাজ্য নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহণ নিয়ে ব্রু সম্প্রদায় এবং মিজো সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের মধ্যে উত্তেজনা দেখা দেয় । মিজো সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা বলেছিলেন যে ব্রু সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা রাজ্যের বাসিন্দা নয়। 1996 সালে ব্রু এবং সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ মিজো সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের মধ্যে সাম্প্রদায়িক দাঙ্গা তাদের দেশত্যাগের দিকে নিয়ে যায়।
1997 সালে জাতিগত টান নিম্নলিখিত, 30,000 Bru,-রিয়াং উপজাতির প্রায় 5,000 পরিবার ছিল মিজোরাম থেকে পালিয়ে ত্রিপুরা আশ্রয় নেন। এই শরণার্থীরা উত্তর ত্রিপুরার কাঞ্চনপুরে অস্থায়ী আশ্রয়কেন্দ্রে বসবাস করছিল।

Ritualistic Festival ‘Lai Haroba’ begins in Tripura
Lai Haroba, a ritualistic festival observed by Manipuri meitei communities began in Agartala, Tripura. The five-day long festival was inaugurated by Speaker of State legislative Assembly, Rebati Mohan Das.
Lai Haroba was celebrated through oral literature, music, dance and rituals. A cultural troupe from Manipur came and performing manipuri martial arts, folk music and folk dances.
The festival was
organized by:
i. Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of Tripura.
ii.Puthiba Lai Haraoba Committee and Puthiba Welfare & Cultural Society, Agartala.

To
Uphold Tradition and Cultural values of Meitei community.

HM Amit Shah signs historic Bru-Reang refugee agreement in New
Delhi; around 34,000 refugees to be settled in
Tripura
On
January, 16 ,2020, Union Minister for Home Affairs (HM), Shri Amit Shah has presided over the signing of a quadripartite agreement
between the central government and
state Governments of Tripura ,Mizoram and
representatives of the Bru tribe in New Delhi to end 23-year old Bru-Reang refugee crisis.
Key Points:
i.
As
per the new agreement, about 34,000 Bru refugees will be inhabited
in Tripura and assisted by central
government with its allocated budget of Rs
600 crores to help in their resettlement.
ii.
Each family of the Bru community
will be allotted individual land blocks & the individual terrain will be
2,500 sq ft. In addition, each family will be provided a one-time assistance of
Rs. 4 lakh as fixed deposit (FD), Rs 1.5 lakh to build houses,financial
assistance of Rs 5,000 per month for livelihood and free ration for the next 2 years.
iii.
Mizoram Chief Minister (CM), Shri Zoramthanga,
CM of Tripura, Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, Chairman, NEDA, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma,
Chairman, TIPRA, Shri Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, representatives of Bru tribes
& other senior officers were also present during the signing ceremony.
About Bru-Reang Tribes:
Reangs
/ Brus are the 2nd
largest ethnic group in Mizoram state.
The
Bru community in Mizoram is considered a group of Scheduled Tribes (ST) and a
separate caste group in Tripura. The people of this community speak the Katuic
language.
Bru-Reang
refugee crisis:
The
residential area of the Bru community extends to Mizoram, Tripura in India and
some areas of the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh.
In
1995, tension arose between the Bru community and the people of the Mizo
community over their participation in the Mizoram state elections. People in
the Mizo community stated that the people of the Bru community are not
residents of the state. The 1996 communal riots between the Bru and people of
the majority Mizo community led to their exodus.
In 1997, following ethnic tension, around 5,000 families of 30,000 Bru-Reang tribes were fled from Mizoram and took shelter in Tripura. These refugees were living in temporary shelters at Kanchanpur, in North Tripura.
