1 Qualifying

6. Reservations
6.1 Reservation Policy of the Government of India is appropriate to UGC-NET.

(I) 15% of the seats for Scheduled Castes (SC) applicants
(ii) 7.5% of the seats
for Scheduled Tribes (ST) applicants

for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer
(NCL) applicants
according to the Central List*
(iv) 10% of the seats for General - Economically Weaker Sections (General - EWS) applicants
(v) 04% of the seats in the previously mentioned classes for Persons with Handicap (PwD) with 40% or greater incapacity.
