What is Tripura TET?
Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) conducts Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (Tripura TET or T-TET) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers in the schools of Tripura. The exam is conducted for two papers – I and II. Paper-I is for candidates who plan to teach classes I-V and paper-II is for candidates who want to teach classes VI-VIII.
Candidates who qualify the Tripura TET exam are awarded a certificate that remains valid for seven years. It may be noted that T-TET is provisional in nature. This means that passing this exam does not entitle a job to the candidates. However, based on the scores of the test, candidates get calls for teaching jobs as per available vacancies in different schools. Candidates have to follow all the prescribed procedures of the school in which they are applying to get the final appointment letter.

The basic Tripura TET eligibility criteria 2021 that candidates must fulfil are:
Candidates should complete class 12th with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks
Candidates should complete graduation with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks (only for candidates applying for paper-II)
A degree or diploma in teacher training (B.Ed)
There is no prescribed age limit to appear for T-TET exam

Tripura TET Registration, Application Form 2021
The Tripura TET registration 2021 begins on March 10, 2021. Indian nationals who reside in Tripura, that is, who have Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate, can apply for the T-TET 2021 exam by visiting the official website- www.trb.tripura.gov.in. The last date to apply online for the exam is March 31, 2021. The last date to pay application fee has been extended till April 7, 2021.
